1. Who we are

BSP SOFTECH, INC. operates a fleet of cargo vans under its own MC authority and provides its drivers a mobile app to coordinate dispatch, report load status, and communicate with the dispatch team.

2. Data we collect

• Account data: name, email address, and password (stored encrypted), used to sign in to the app.
• GPS location: sent when a driver sets their status to "loaded" or "available" in the app, and continuously in the background while that status is active, so dispatch knows the driver's position between loads — even when the app is closed.
• Chat messages exchanged between the driver and dispatch inside the app.
• Push notification token, used to alert the driver of new messages from dispatch.

3. Background location

The app requests "Always" location permission because BSP SOFTECH is a trucking company: dispatch needs to know where each available or loaded driver is, even when the driver doesn't have the app open. Location is only collected while the driver has an active status (loaded/available); we do not track drivers off shift. You can revoke this permission at any time from your phone's location settings, though this may limit the app's dispatch features.

4. How we use data

Data is used solely to operate the fleet: assigning and coordinating routes, knowing driver positions, and enabling direct communication with dispatch. We do not use this data for advertising or combine it with third-party data to profile users.

5. Who we share data with

We do not sell or rent your data. Only BSP SOFTECH, INC. dispatch/admin staff have access, along with infrastructure providers strictly necessary to run the app (hosting, email delivery, push notifications), under confidentiality obligations.

6. Retention and security

We retain data for as long as the driver is active with the fleet, or as needed to meet legal/operational obligations. We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) and hashed passwords to protect information.

7. Your rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by emailing cosmebsp@bspsoftech.com.

8. Children

This app is intended solely for adult drivers contracted by BSP SOFTECH, INC. It is not directed at children under 18.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page along with an updated date.
